Derian House Charity Shops
Derian House Charity Shops are a viable and vital resource in terms of raising much needed funds for the hospice. Currently our shops raise more than £xxxx each year… a substantial amount of money which contributes hugely to funding the high standards of care and support so vital to families throughout the North West.
We depend greatly on the generosity of people in the community who donate clothes, furniture, bric a brac and general household goods, which can be sold on to the public to raise much needed funds for the hospice. Equally we rely on the continued support of our customers who contribute to our funds through their continued patronage of our shops.
To all of you who donate on a regular basis, as well as those of you who continue to browse, bargain and buy…... a huge thank you….. we couldn’t manage without you!
With seven Derian House shops throughout the region, one in Chorley, one in Wigan , one in Horwich, one in Farnworth and three in Bolton, the Shops Managers are always on the lookout for additional volunteers to help staff the shops. Our volunteers cover a wide age spectrum from 16 to 66+. Some work for just a couple of hours a week, while others have a couple of days to spare. Whatever time commitment people can offer, we’re delighted to have the skills they bring to the hospice.
