Clinical Administration Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Administration Assistant to join our friendly Care team here at Derian House.

This role is primarily to provide administrative support to the clinical team and other general administrative duties within the Hospice such as providing Reception cover which includes meeting and greeting children, young people, families and other Hospice visitors. Strong interpersonal skills are needed with the ability to interact with people of all ages and backgrounds.

You will need knowledge of, or experience of working in a clinical environment, experience of working in a busy office environment and of general administrative duties. The successful candidate will have a can do approach, and a proven ability to balance multiple priorities along with excellent attention to detail, good IT skills. Experience of working with or developing clinical systems is desirable.

Bank Chef

 Derian House Children’s Hospice provides high quality care to children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.

 We are looking to recruit a relief chef/cook to cover holidays and time off in the running of our kitchens at Derian House.

You will need relevant experience within a catering environment, with the ability to multi-task and manage change.  You must be able to demonstrate enthusiasm, excellent communication and organisational skills and work effectively within a team. Ideally, you will have received training in food hygiene.
