Community Fundraiser

  • £21,800 - £27,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
  • 37.5 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Community Fundraiser to join the highly successful fundraising team at Derian House in Chorley.

The role will include creating innovative approaches to raise funds that meet agreed targets and objectives and be responsible for identifying, engaging and winning new support as well as maintaining and developing existing support from the community.

The successful candidate will have experience of fundraising together with experience of planning and managing successful projects, the ability to work to deadlines and excellent communication skills.

Bank Chef

 Derian House Children’s Hospice provides high quality care to children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.

 We are looking to recruit a relief chef/cook to cover holidays and time off in the running of our kitchens at Derian House.

You will need relevant experience within a catering environment, with the ability to multi-task and manage change.  You must be able to demonstrate enthusiasm, excellent communication and organisational skills and work effectively within a team. Ideally, you will have received training in food hygiene.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a team of Registered Nurses who are able to provide flexible support to our dedicated care team.

If you are enthusiastic and have experience in caring for children and young adults with
with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions then this could be the ideal opportunity to develop your skills within a Hospice setting. You will need to be motivated to really make a positive difference to the lives of our children with highly specialised needs.

We would require successful applicants to undertake mandatory training and competency assessment in-line with Derian House policies along with commitment to work a minimum of 120 hours per year
