Corporate Partnership Manager

We are currently recruiting a Corporate Partnership Manager who is relevantly experienced and qualified to join the Fundraising Team within Corporate and Commercial Services at Derian House.

The successful applicant will demonstrate extensive experience of working in a corporate fundraising, marketing or sales position in a client facing role with a proven track record of developing new business opportunities and meeting or exceeding targets.

Derian House Children’s Hospice is proud to have been providing high quality care to children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions for the last 25 years.  As we plan for the future developing and growing our services we are looking for nurses who are passionate about delivering outstanding care and are keen to develop their skills in palliative care.

Volunteer - Clinical Education Support

Based at the hospice in Astley Village

To support the clinical educators with administrative duties to ensure all clinical education activities are supported and recorded accordingly for the organisation and individual staff records in line with personal professional development and CQC requirements

  • Processing all relevant documents related to staff study days i.e. posters, attendance sheets, evaluation forms etc
  • Organising rooms/venues and required the materials in line with the needs of the training session
  • Preparation and delivery of refreshments for organised training events
  • Maintain the training matrix
  • Support Clinical Educators with any reactive administration tasks

Volunteer - Housekeeping Support

Based at the hospice in Astley Village

Monday to Sunday shifts available, flexible hours. Also to assist with bank cover for holidays or sickness.

  • To assist with keeping the communal areas of the hospice clean and tidy.
  • To carry out specific duties, such as cleaning corridors, bathrooms, offices and dining room as directed.
  • To work closely with the care team in maintaining a clean and healthy environment.

We are looking for people with an energetic, can do approach, attention to    detail and the ability to work as part of a team.

Bank Chef

 Derian House Children’s Hospice provides high quality care to children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.

 We are looking to recruit a relief chef/cook to cover holidays and time off in the running of our kitchens at Derian House.

You will need relevant experience within a catering environment, with the ability to multi-task and manage change.  You must be able to demonstrate enthusiasm, excellent communication and organisational skills and work effectively within a team. Ideally, you will have received training in food hygiene.
