...I became a volunteer because I felt it was a way of doing something for the community, but I’ve got do much out of working at Derian House that I feel as if the benefit is all mine…
So much has been achieved at Derian House over the past fifteen years, and a great part of it is due to the tremendous help we have received from our volunteer force. This support through the donation of time and skills has proved to be a major contributory factor in the success story that is Derian House.
Our volunteers make a huge contribution to the hospice through our charity shops, as fundraising representatives attending charity events, and of course, within the hospice itself.
