Bank Registered Nurses

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a team of Registered Nurses who are able to provide flexible support to our dedicated care team.

If you are enthusiastic and have experience in caring for children and young adults with
with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions then this could be the ideal opportunity to develop your skills within a Hospice setting. You will need to be motivated to really make a positive difference to the lives of our children with highly specialised needs.

We would require successful applicants to undertake mandatory training and competency assessment in-line with Derian House policies along with commitment to work a minimum of 120 hours per year

GP or Consultant Paediatrician

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic GP or Consultant Paediatrician who is interested in participating in a medical cover rota involving daily review and 24/7 on call on a one week in four rota at Derian House Children’s Hospice. The role will involve providing skilled general medical and specialist palliative care for children and young people with life limiting and life threatening conditions that vary in age from birth up to 26 years old.

The successful applicant would work in partnership with 3 other GP’s to manage clinical issues in relation to individual children and young people and their families.
