Cleaner (Housekeeper)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cleaner to join the Housekeeping Team at Derian House Children’s Hospice to assist in the daily cleaning and general housekeeping activities within the Hospice.

Applicants must have previous relevant experience within a cleaning role; ideally with experience of a sensitive working environment. You must be able to demonstrate enthusiasm, have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able work effectively both within a team and individually.

Full time and part time opportunities available.

Working hours Mon-Fri 8-4 or 9-5 with some weekend working required on an ad-hoc basis

Registered Children's Nurse (RCN) (Experienced)

As we plan for the future developing and growing our services we are looking for experienced children’s nurses who are passionate about delivering outstanding care and are keen to develop their skills in palliative care.

The Derian in-house care team provides symptom management, palliative and end-of-life care, as well as short break respite care to children, young people and their families across Lancashire, South Cumbria and Greater Manchester. Supported by our dedicated community team, family support team, neonatal services and young people’s services we are able to provide a wide range of support and care in a variety of settings.

Bank Chef

 Derian House Children’s Hospice provides high quality care to children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.

 We are looking to recruit a relief chef/cook to cover holidays and time off in the running of our kitchens at Derian House.

You will need relevant experience within a catering environment, with the ability to multi-task and manage change.  You must be able to demonstrate enthusiasm, excellent communication and organisational skills and work effectively within a team. Ideally, you will have received training in food hygiene.
