Derian House Children’s Hospice is proud to have been providing high quality care to children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions for the last 25 years. As we plan for the future developing and growing our services; we are looking for an experienced physiotherapist who is passionate about delivering outstanding care to children and young people with highly complex needs. This role will involve developing and managing a small physiotherapy team, and will involve further developing the current service both in-house and within a community setting.

The successful candidate will have a physiotherapy degree and have a hydrotherapy qualification or be willing to obtain one. Training in respiratory management including invasive, non-invasive ventilation and cough assist is essential. Evidence of a proven ability with service development and implementation, working within a multi-disciplinary team, and understanding the specific needs of children/young people with life limiting & life threatening conditions is also essential.
