Lynn Grayson
Director of Clinical Services
I have more than 30 years of nursing experience working in a number of hospitals across the country in Paediatric Intensive Care and Paediatric Oncology and have completed post-registration courses within these specialities as well as an MSc in Advanced Practice.
I began work at Derian in 2015 initially as Clinical Nurse Specialist for palliative care before taking on the role of Clinical Lead, and in 2018 as appointed Clinical Director.
My priority is to ensure the delivery of outstanding care to the children, young people and families who come to Derian and, at the same time, supporting the care team to develop their skills and knowledge.
I am keen to raise the profile of Derian House and attend regional palliative care network meetings. I am also the current Children’s Hospice representative on the Hospice UK Executive Clinical Leads in Hospice and Palliative care (ECLiHP) national executive group.
I am married to Mike and have two grown up children, Matthew and Kate, and two Labradors. I volunteer as a Range Guide Leader and am a season ticket holder for Wigan Warriors Rugby League Club.
