Two big-hearted friends from Euxton have been inspired by the national Red Nose Day charity campaign to raise money for Derian House Children’s Hospice.
Thomas Jackson-Charnock (12) and Daniel Carr (10) staged an impromptu car wash for family members and neighbours, raising £33.62 to help our work with children and young people with life-threatening medical conditions and life-limiting illnesses.
“I’m so proud of them,” said Thomas’s mum, Lisa. “They organised the car wash themselves after seeing how Comic Relief could really make a difference and worked really hard to make sure they raised as much money as possible for Derian House.”
