Talented young dancers from a Leyland dance school have raised £1,000 for Derian House Children’s Hospice – with help from the Eric Wright Group.
Around 100 students took to the stage in the Magic of Dance at the Charter Theatre, Preston, in a stunning performance by the Mavis Berry and Helen Allen School of Dance that wowed audiences.
Performances from Cinderella, Hairspray, Matilda and Copacabana allowed students to show off their skills in all forms of dance, from classical ballet to modern theatre, after months of hard work and rehearsals.
A raffle raised £500 which was matched by the big-hearted Eric Wright Group.
“We think it is very important to think of others and those children and families who are going through such terrible times. We know that Derian House can make such a difference to their lives,” said Helen.
