“I don’t know what we’d do without Derian House. We love going to playgroup where it’s safe for Georgia to play and make friends in a safe environment. Georgia enjoys relaxing in the sensory room, or getting creative with arts and crafts. It’s fantastic. And it’s the friendships for me too. I have made so many friends at Derian through other parents and staff. While our situations might not all be the same, we all understand what each of us goes through. Counselling sessions and family support have supported me with my mental health. They have definitely put me in a better place. We’ve even been lucky enough to go on a Disney holiday thanks to a mystery donor. Derian House made so many things possible for our family.”
