Fundraising in schools

There are over 1,000 schools within the Derian House catchment area!

If every school raised £500, that would mean a massive £500,000 going towards care and support for our children and their families.

How can you get involved?

Take a look at our fundraising materials which you can download and use.

Why not ask for one of our fundraisers to come and talk to your assembly and help you get started?

Do you have a student council? You could become a Student Ambassador Group and help us to spread the word.

These groups allow teams of students to set up and coordinate their own support group where they may organise fundraising events, run stalls or simply raise awareness of our charity. It offers experience in general management, finance, I.T. and marketing as you take responsibility for all areas of the project.

Here are some other ideas:

  • Make Derian House your charity of the year
  • Have a bake sale
  • Have a fancy dress competition
  • Get crafty
  • Hold a quiz with your class, year, or even the whole school!

There are so many different ways for you to get involved in fundraising for Derian House, and whether you choose a one off event, or a series of fundraising activities, we’ll be there every step of the way to give you a helping hand.

Let us know what you’d like to do…. we’ll give you lots of help to do it! Call the Fundraising Team on 01257 271 271 for more information.
