Supporting Derian House can benefit both our children and young people, and and your business.
We are looking for corporate sponsors, from local businesses to multi-national companies to help us raise the £4million we need every year to keep our doors open.
It costs £10,800 a day to run Derian House, or £450 every hour. Only seven per cent of this total is given to us in statutory funding. For the remainder, we rely on the generosity of our sponsors and corporate partners.
We have a dedicated Corporate Partnership Manager who can tailor-make a partnership package aligned to your individual business needs. We will work with you and your employees to raise your profile while you raise vital funds for our youngsters.
Building a relationship with us could enhance your business appearance, achieve your corporate social responsibility objectives and generate real business growth.

The Corporate Partnership Scheme
There are many different ways for us to work together and we will support you every step of the way. Here are a couple of ideas:
Make us your charity of the year
This is a great way to showcase the great relationship between us and to engage employees with the Charity and the cause. Through joint social media and marketing your business and its CSR function will be promoted.
Did you know – A survey, carried out by the PR consultancy Wriglesworth Research, found that 74 per cent of respondents said their workplace had an effective corporate social responsibility programme, and 21 per cent regularly took part in charitable activities through their jobs.
Sponsor an event
By sponsoring one of our events you can advertise your partnership with Derian house and elevate your brand awareness as many of our events are attended by large amounts of people and receive press coverage.
Did you know – When faced with a choice between two companies that offered products and services for the same price, 82 per cent said their decision would be affected by whether a company engaged with charities and its local community.
Corporate Volunteer Days
We can offer volunteering days for you and your employees to help engage them and boost employee satisfaction which helps drive motivation and moral across the company.
26 per cent of people who said their workplace did not have an effective CSR programme, all said they would like one to be introduced.
Team bonding opportunities and Events
Encourage team bonding by taking part in any of the major races and challenge events across the country, we can provide the free places if you can provide the people. We will be taking part in The Greater Manchester Marathon and The Great North Run 2019 to name a few. We also hold many of our own events for you to attend and take part in.
Another way to include employees is by match funding whatever they raise through a donation from the company. As well as providing further motivation for staff it complements your corporate social responsibility program. Payroll giving and our Derian House Lottery is also something that everyone can be involved in.
£50 Corporate Challenge 2019
We will also be holding a Corporate Challenge, where you can challenge your workforce to turn £50 into much much more. The list of opportunities is endless, have a dress down across the office, hold a bake sale, take part in a challenge; run, swim, climb. Offer your services for a donation. This is a great opportunity to involve your employees, suppliers, clients, friends and family to come up with the most profitable ideas. There will be prizes for the largest totals raised and the most entrepreneurial ideas.
Bail Me Out 2019
Another event aimed at our businesses that is planned for next year is set to see representatives from 10 companies to take part in this FUNdraising challenge. Where participants will be arrested and brought to Derian House jail and will not be released until they have raised a minimum of £999 in bail money. A prison uniform will be provided and have access to their laptops and phones throughout the day in order to raise bail money. They will be photographed with their prisoner number (a JustTextGiving code) before being banished to the cells. This will be a fun day, very much tongue in cheek and should generate a lot of publicity, both on social media and in the press, which will benefit both your company and Derian House.
