We care for more than 400 seriously ill babies, children and young people across the North West. We do this 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We never close to those who need us.

Support us

Care is free for families, but it will cost £6 million to run services at Derian House this year, and we rely on the generosity of our kind supporters to keep doing what we do.

And there we have it, another incredible #ThankYouThursday extravaganza! Thanks to everyone who continues to support us - we appreciate it so much 🥰💚 Housebuilder Bellway has made a generous £300 donation to us.💚 Team members from Barnes Aerospace spent the day volunteering in our gardens, doing some vital work to our hospice grounds and helping to plant a further 50 tree saplings as part of our #BuildAForest campaign.💚 Chris Dolan and his family took part in the Keswick to Barrow walk last weekend in the scorching sun, and although there were lots of achy legs and blisters - they completed the challenge and raised a phenomenal £500 for Derian House.💚 Family-run John Harrison Sports Ltd has already sold a brilliant 500 of their Premier League-style Player of the Match trophies to kids' sports teams across the region, and donated all of the profits to their local children's hospice. 💚Avantor Clinical Services decided to virtually travel the distance from their depot in Buckshaw Village to their depot in Florida - an insane 6,850km - by walking, running, cycling or rowing. Strap yourselves in, we've got another batch of fabulous fundraisers to grace your timelines with on this glorious #ThankYouThursday! 🤩💚 Morrisons Leigh Community raised £814 for us during Musical May, in association with Together for Short Lives. 💚 The Secret Closet held a fashion show at Croston Sports Club, and raised a whopping £1,017 for both us and Croston WI. 💚 Kevin and friends took part in their 10th annual 'bike binge' back in 2023, and now that they received all of their sponsors, we can proudly announce that they've raised a stupendous £5,255.58 for us over the years!💚 Archbishop Temple Church of England High School's Year 7 forms are all taking part in our famous £50 Junior Challenge, and 7L kicked off their fundraising shenanigans with a cake sale where they raised £70.80.💚 Gary Southworth walked across Infinity Bridge on his high wire challenge, and has raised nearly £300 for us in the process.TY 🫶 ...
